Housed in the historic Dominion Grand Hotel (est. 1899) in Gastown, this institution was renovated in late 2007. Intact are the original tin stamped ceilings, exposed brick walls, stained glass windows and railings.

The lighter has been given a grand renovation, adding a new sound system, comfy furniture and flatscreen TVs and French doors open to a new patio. The Lamplighter lends itself to any type of event be it live music, DJs, sports or simply enjoying time with friends.
