The DUB is back!!

After spending 10 days in Whistler with VIP access to every Kokanee event, the DUB is back!

You ask whut were the events that the DUB went to?  One of the first days consisted of being at the VIP side stage watching the always entertaining Swollen Members! These guys know how to put on a show! The village was PACKED! Everyone was rocking out and singing to each song… Not to mention the insane freestyle by Prevail! The song of the trip was set after the concert. The song that the DUB could not get out of my head the whole trip… ‘cause I’m a WARRIOR!!’  It’s one of their new songs. Check it out on YouTube here.

Swollen Concert!

So whut was the best party of the trip? Bar none the SILENT DISCO! Have you heard of one of these? Well let the DUB explain. There’s no music is the club. Everyone has wireless headphones that have 4 channels with different music spinning live by 4 DJ’s.  People choose the music they want to listen to. It is insane! People are listening to different music, dancing to different songs and singing to different channels! Can you imagine?! Check out whut it looked like last year:  SILENT DISCO VIDEO

Silent Disco!

Another one of the main events was the Big Air contest. These guys are CRAZY! Flying off a massive jump and getting 50 feet of the air. These extreme skiers pulled of some very impressive twists, flips, turns and BIG AIR! The winner? World renowned X games star, Bobby Brown! Check out BOBBY BROWN.

Shout out to Jeff May, Elliot Smith, Kevin Hobbs, David Van Ostrand, Adam Rogers, Bree Allison, The Score TV Network and Kokanee for such an unreal time. Telus World Snowboard and Ski Festival 2011 is in the books. Round two next year. Who’s joining me?! Did I mention GLACIER GIRLS EVERYWHERE? Decision should be made.
